Looking out the window
The leaves splattered with the dewy water,
The green in them is intensified.
Looking out the window
The wind brings the chimes in playful gather,
The souls danced in musical delight.
The clothesline hang empty in the courtyard
As clothes, like unfulfilled dreams, fly away.
The dusty steps creak of aged stampede
Of feet heavy with aspiration.
Empty frames lie desolated
The dark blemish of regret slurs.
Diaries entered with the ink of vision
Lies opened, pages torn.
Looking out the window
The clouds form the shapes once imagined,
Yet the wind keeps blowing them away.
Looking out the window
Tears fall as i reminisce what it was then,
And how it is Now....
